Touch [N905] update from 2.1.5 to 4.38.21908

Hello,
my father in law has N905 device and he hasn't updated the firmware sirnce 2012.
Can I update it directly from 2.1.5 to 4.38.21908?
Should I just downlod the zip and copy his content in .kodo folder?
